My Story

I have been an avid DnD player and DM since 1980. And I have, for a long time, wanted to combine elements of multimedia (that's what we called it way back when) with role playing games. A few years ago I looked at what was available again, and was surprised to find a lot of animated maps online. I looked around to see if anyone was making boxed TVs for this purpose and found nothing. So I made my own. The first one I made was a 29" embedded in a custom made leaf for our dining room table. It served it's purpose well, but I wanted something bigger. So I boxed a 50" screen, and then made an 8' table to place it in! This not only breathed life into the stories I wanted to tell via DnD, but it renewed an old interest in woodworking. Now I make the DMC-40 Digital Map Case for others to enjoy as well. It truly is a labor of love.
